A metered AI entitlement is spent for the current period. The tenant HAS the feature — they have used this month's allowance of it.
Common causes
- The tenant hit the cap on a metered AI entitlement (ai.compose_monthly, ai.copilot_asks_monthly, ai.input_tokens_monthly, ai.vision_calls_monthly).
- context.quota.entitlementKey names which one.
What to do
The counter resets at the start of the next billing period, or upgrade the plan for a larger allowance. This is NOT a permission problem — do not route it to the permissions path.
