AWS SES rejected or could not deliver an outbound email. Reasons range from suppression list to authentication failure.

Common causes

  • Recipient address is on the SES suppression list.
  • From-domain DKIM/SPF not aligned.
  • Account in the SES sandbox sending to unverified address.

What to do

Inspect SES feedback. Remove address from suppression list if appropriate; verify DKIM/SPF for the sending domain.
